Guide Hachette 2015
Two stars in Hachette Wine Guide for the Petit Chablis 2012 Stéphanie et Vincent Michelet
"This very nice Petit Chablis is rich and generous. Nose, both fruity and floral, has seducted straightaway the wine tasters. The charm continued to operate in mouth : the roundness of the wine is supported by a nice minerality. An examplery vintage."
One star in Hachette Wine Guide for the Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu 2012 Jean-Claude Courtault
"From its steel tank aging , this 2012 keeps a wonderfull freshness. The nose gives fine and complex aromas, (white fruits and citrus fruits). In mouth, this wine is straight, agreedy attack on exotic fruits with a fresh finale ."

Press reviews :
- Selection of our 2010 wines by the Revue des Vins de France no.560, April 2012, presenting the best village Burgundy whites of 2010
Tasting note : classic, typical Chablis
"Jean-Claude Courtault, 62 years old, is a man with a firm handshake and convictions. He knows what he expects from a Chablis: minerality and fine flavors. And that's just what we find in his three 2010 wines selected here: the "Chablis Classique" (score 16/20) offers a pure, typically Chablis bouquet and a succession of mineral notes on the palate. With the "Fût de Chêne" (15.5/20) a floral nose precedes a full and fruity attack with lots of energy. The "Petit Chablis" (14/20) is a supple, fruity wine with a lemony finish that you can drink this year. The "Petit Chablis Stéphanie et Vincent Michelet" (15/20) achieves a fine balance between fleshiness and freshness. Stéphanie and Vincent, Jean-Claude's daughter and son-in-law, participate in the selection of his vintages. The grapes they grow on four communities carrying the Chablis appellation are vinified vine by vine, then blended during the fining stage. The 2010 harvest was spread over a long season to ensure maximal maturity. A decision that has clearly paid off" GB

Guide Hachette 2012 :
- Two Stars in the Hachette Wine Guide for the Chablis 2009 "Stéphanie et Vincent Michelet":
"...This Chablis brings out all the characteristics of the Chablis soil. A wine with a powerful fragrance and a slight minerality underlining its fruitiness. With its long, rich and rising flavor in the mouth, this wine is just right! The fruity notes and constant underlying freshness offer real pleasure today or in a couple of years with a fish dish."
- One Star in the Hachette Wine Guide for the Chablis 2009 "60":
"Une cuvée anniversaire, qui célèbre les soixante ans de Jean-Claude Courtault. Un Chablis comme il sait le faire, dans le respect de l'appellation, du millésime et du terroir. Un cas d'école qu'il récite chaque année. Ici un nez frais et fruité, une bouche tendue précise et vive. Tous les ingrédients d'un vin très réussi soutenu par une belle minéralité. A servir sans faute de goût, avec une poêlée de saint-jacques"
- One Star in the Hachette Guide for the Petit Chablis 2009 "Stéphanie et Vincent Michelet":
"Vincent Michelet started in 2008 with 4 hectares of vines. So 2009 is his second vintage, and his first selection in the Guide. A very successful début for this wine with a highly expressive nose with notes of candied fruit and beeswax. Fresh in the mouth, with pleasant minerality and marked citrus flavors. A very harmonious, attractive wine that would be a perfect accompaniment for a chicken tagine with lemon."

- In the magazine "En Bourgogne" (April/May 2011) : Selection of the Chablis 2009 "Stéphanie et Vincent Michelet"
Tasting note : A classic mineral Chablis bouquet. Fresh and very expressive on the palate but also well rounded. A true Chablis.

Press review:
- Selection of our Chablis 2008 by "Le Point" in its special wine issue on 3rd September 2009.
Tasting note : mineral, peppery, with a hint of pear and a very ripe nose that reminds us more of a Côte-d’Or than a Chablis. Obviously from heavier soils, it is full-bodied, powerful, rather rich and well balanced.Very pleasant, although it lacks the sharpness of Chablis grown on calcareous soil. Score: *14
- Selection of our Petit Chablis 2008 by "La Revue des Vins de France" of which the special issue in June 2009 was dedicated to the best 2008 vintages.
Tasting note : fresh and chalky, it offers a firmer mouthfeel than than the average Petit Chablis.
- Selection of our Chablis 2007 by the magazine "Bourgogne Aujourd'hui" April-May 2009
Tasting note : a full-bodied Chablis of power and intensity, deep and well balanced on the palate. A very marked aromatic expression.
